Hey there! My name's Robert, though I normally go by Bret. I've been playing games since I was 2 years old, and I've known that I wanted to make them since I was 15. Starting as a level designer allowed me to learn about many other facets of game design, and ever since then I've been enamored with the entire process - so naturally I've become interested in producing games!

Throughout the years, I've gone from playing games to analyzing the choices developers made within them - "why do players keep coming back?", "what's really driving them to pick up the controller?", "what makes this game truly fun?". I've made it my mission to comprehend these questions, distilling them down to their basic principles, and reapplying wherever I effectively can.

I understand the fact that every developer on a team should be empowered to have a voice. Coming from someone who was traditionally more of a "silent observer", I know that often times those most quiet can procure the most brilliant ideas. Empowering teams is the best way to ensure the highest-quality product possible.

Other than producing and developing games, I've found there's no better way to spend time than alongside friends, family, or dogs. There's no in-between! Well, tennis and golf are pretty cool too...
